Located in Xinxiang City, Henan Province, Xinxiang Medical University is an independently established western medical university. Its medical education began in 1922 and the university has been in operation since 1950. It has 22 teaching colleges (departments). Totally there are about 28,000 students in the university.
School disciplines at Xinxiang Medical University are structured into seven categories, including medicine, science, engineering, literature, law, management and education, among which the clinical medicine disciplines rank among the top 0.5ESI global rankings and is included under Chinas first-class disciplines. The school has 22 masters degree programs and 35 undergraduate majors.
