Sias University was founded in 1998. Sias University is a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution invested by Sias Group of the United States and cooperated with Fort Hays State University (FHSU) in Kansas, USA. It is the first in Henan Province to be approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. Full-time undergraduate colleges that can implement overseas bachelors degree education cooperation projects are also the first batch of colleges and universities that have been evaluated by the Chinese Ministry of Education for Sino-foreign cooperative education.
The school adheres to the path of international cooperation in running schools, and has successively carried out friendly exchanges and cooperation with more than 180 universities in 50 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. The school’s School of International Education has now enrolled international students from nearly 30 countries including the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Russia. In the international exchanges of students and the international cooperation of the faculty, the schools characteristics of combining Chinese and Western education are highlighted.
