Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is now the biggest Sino-foreign cooperative university, a partnership between the University of Liverpool, UK and Xian Jiaotong University, China. XJTLU is located in the city of Suzhou on Chinas east coast. University has over 21,000 registered students.
All programmes are taught in English. XJTLU currently offers more than 100 UG, PG & PhD programmes in various fields. Undergraduate students earn two degrees: a degree from the University of Liverpool, UK and a second degree from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China. Postgraduate students receive one degree from the University of Liverpool, UK.
Application to XJTLU is online and free of charge. We do NOT ask for any Chinese language background when students apply to XJTLU. University offers up to 50scholarship off tuition fee to international applicants and applicants from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao.
Thanks to our close relationship with University of Liverpool, our undergraduate students can choose “2+2” study route to complete their year 3 and year 4 at the University of Liverpool, UK. Upon graduation, they will also get two degrees.
XJTLU draws over 1,600 academic staff from above 50 countries. Around 1,000 international students come from 89 countries.
